Save mine and my children’s home!

Hi everyone!

I need some help saving my family's home. I don't know where else to turn. I am a single mom with 3 kids (age 7,4, and 2). Up til a couple of years ago, everything was going great. I owned my own home, I was married, and I was in a Ph.D. program for Medical/Clinical Psychology. I even had my dream job, working with substance dependent, mentally ill homeless men. However my life took a negative turn when I got divorced. I won't sit here and feel sorry for myself; I'm not a victim, I made mistakes, too. Everything spiralled downward, and I was in way over my head in debt. Between student loans, credit card debt, hospital bills, and my mortgage- I just couldn't maintain. I was asked to take a leave of absence from school (where I worked as my only source of income) because of how stressed I was.

Last year, I decided to try to modify my home loan in order to make things more manageable. I took the only job I could get doing door to door sales, working on commission only. I worked 14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, often to not even get a paycheck. I quickly dwindled through all my savings. When I started the modification process, I tried to make my regular house payment so I wouldn't fall behind. I was told not to make a payment until the process was complete. Every month I tried, to be told the same thing. 4 months later, I was told my house was being foreclosed on because I was late. I didn't have enough money to pay it in full, and that was the only option I had. My father and I have been fighting them for months trying to come to an agreement. The sale date for foreclosure is Monday. My parents are helping me as much as they can, and I am putting in everything I have. The money I am asking for is only the remainder, no more. This is the first place each of my children saw when they came home from the hospital. Every first they had happened here- first words, first steps, first boo boo.

This is my last effort. I have nowhere else to turn. I have always believed that the kindness of strangers can be surprising and beautiful. Please help save mine and my babies' home. Thank you so much for your time and generosity.

Some examples are designer purses, designer clothes, shoes, nail polish, comics, and vintage toys. Take your pick! If you don't see something you want, name what you are looking for and I have it, it's yours.

For any donation above $500: Same as above but make it 2 items! 

For any donation above $1000: Same as above except make it 3 items!

Also, here is another option for any donation above $250... I have been modeling for the last few years to make extra money. If anyone likes that kind of thing, I will give you access to my model mayhem page and let you pick a picture. I will have it professionally printed and sign it for you. I'm not famous or anything, but hey you never know! Then you can say "I am part of the reason that chick made it and I have the thank you note to prove it!" Lol

For a donation of the full $6,800: if anyone is generous enough to donate the full amount ... I am exercising my creativity here. I will drive out to your house, give you a big old hug, and do any chore you need me to do. I have cleaned professionally, so I can shampoo your carpet, buff your hardwood floors, paint a room, rake leaves, clean toilets, whatever you need! No chores to do? Let me take you out to eat at your favorite restaurant.
