Save Mick & Jagger

So we found these 2 little kitties abandoned in the middle of the road on our way out of 5 days filming in the Leuser Eco system in Aceh, Indonesia.

We didnt know what to do, but knew they would die for sure if we left them. So we picked them up, drove 100km & smuggled them into our hotel room to feed & give them shelter.

Since there are no animal shelters or similar in Sumatra, the next day as we checked-out to leave we made a deal with a friend on the ground who’s agreed to make sure they find a home.

The people in Aceh, Indonesia have really low incomes to live on, let alone pay for 2 pet cats.

We put down some initial funds to ensure they get to a vet for a check up and a clean and meals for as long as possible.

We’ve agreed to send continued funding to keep them fed. Any money raised here will go to keeping them alive and healthy.

When trying to come up with names which worked as a pair, somehow “Mick Jagger” popped up.. And so it became.. Mick (ginger) is pretty chilled. ”Jagger” however was a bit if a handful. Probably like Mick Jagger was when touring .. The names stuck!
