Campaign Story
My sister asked me if I wanted to adopt a dog. I said yes, because I can't afford to buy one. My mother disagreed but I insisted. She then learned to accept them and became part of our family. I didn't know why their owner abandoned them until we noticed that one has scabies and the other has a cataract. We took care of them and used home remedies to heal their scabies. Months passed, my male shih tzu started to have a skin disease. The vet said he has a demodedicosis or genetic lifetime skin disease. The vet gave me a temporary prescription or antibiotic for my dog. Because I couldn't afford to give their needs, I opted for home remedies until he got better but it came back. I was so weak and worthless. I didn't expect that this would happen. I continue to take care of them as long as I can. Now, my female dog has a problem with her mouth. I don't know if it's because she's old. I researched and found out that she might have mouth problems. Her tongue is exposed, her teeth are falling out and she has a bad breath. She could eat and swallow her food before but now she can't even if she wants to. She has a struggle eating her food. She continues to lose weight. I tried to feed her but she spitted it out. She might have a mouth cancer. I'm responsible for them. And this is the only way I could help them live longer. I can't lose them without doing anything. I realized there's a reason why God let me take care and adopt them. God gave them to me. If their owner abandoned them because of their illness, why would I abandon them? I want to save them. Life is short to help one's life. ONE LOVE. ONE HELP. ONE LIFE SAVED.
Please help my max and maxine. Any amount of donation will help and be very much appreciated. Also, your prayers would be highly appreciated too. God bless!
