Save Marcelo

Marcelo, my uncle is 65 years old, born in Manila Philippines. At the age of 17 he started working as a construction worker and fought hard in life to finish college so that he could get a decent job.

At the age of 21 he left the Philippines and went to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and worked as a data controller. He stayed there for almost three decades so that he could help his other 7 siblings and parents live a better life in Manila.

Everything went well until early this year, he felt a stomach ache and went to the doctor for consultation. In August he was admitted to the hospital and made a major operation in his intestine. And last Wednesday, we heard the saddest news of our lives. Marcelo was diagnosed stage 3 COLON cancer.

Marcelo spent his life helping his siblings, parents, niece and nephews all his life. He never got a chance to raise a family of his own. But he was very happy as he has the best and supporting and loving family. Though we don’t have enough money to support his medical bills, we are going to fight for him until he has fully recovered. We are going to win this battle against cancer.
