Save Mama’s Heart

My mother used to tell me that I can overcome everything in life if I have a strong heart and faith in God. What I didn't expect is for my Mom's heart to grew weak as I grow older.

Hello, my name is Ashley Peralta and I’m asking for your help to save my loving mother, Juvelita Peralta.

She was diagnosed with enlarged heart in 2006 due to the stress of giving birth to my sister. In 2010, we discovered that a valve of her heart is blocked and just recently, four valves are blocked which results to decreased blood flow. Her legs are already swelling due to irregular blood circulation---she can no longer walk without help.

Last September 22, 2019, she was admitted to VRP Medical Center due to other complications that she had. Her doctor advised us to admitted my mother asap to seek medical care because her situation is not advisable to take medicines at home. The doctor diagnose that she had a pneumonia that needs to be cure as soon as possible, and doctor the condition of is heart is not good conditions they qualified her sickness as RHD in severe level.

She need to undergo into multiple laboratory test to cure her other complications, she had water in her liver and kidney. They advise us that they need to perform Thoracentesis thru ultrasound to drain the water in her lungs. With that she might able to go on the procedure

If successful, the Angioplasty operation’s estimated cost is 250,000. In addition to these procedures, we also have to pay for the hospital bill and maintenance medicines she has to take.

It hurts me to watch the strongest woman that I have looked up to my whole life to suffer every day. Mama has always been the most amazing woman, mother, and friend to me and my siblings, and the greatest wife to my Papa.
