Mama’s Home in Her Father’s House

Mama passed away today, May 1, 2018. She is now in her Father's House.

Our grandmother experienced pulmonary embolism, a possibly fatal condition which makes it difficult for her to breathe, eat, and even speak.

Mama Nina, our grandma, started to weaken after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Although the tumor itself was benign, she still had no choice but to take decilone forte (dexamethasone), a

maintenance medicine which gradually weakened her immune system.

This diminished her health greatly and took away her appetite and her strength to move and do ordinary tasks. Not long after this, she contracted pneumonia which has now led to her death.
