Save Lombok to Rebuild their school !!

The latest data on the amount of physical damage caused by the Lombok earthquake was announced by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) on Sunday (08/12/2018).

The temporary data belonging to the BNPB said that the Lombok earthquake had caused damage to buildings belonging to 606 schools in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Around 3,051 classrooms in hundreds of schools were damaged, 1,460 of which were heavily damaged.

To restore damage to teaching and learning facilities due to the Lombok earthquake, we plan to help the government set up several school buildings. In the meantime, we and the government are building emergency school tents.

To carry out emergency schools, 319 tents were needed, of which 21 tents were installed and there were a shortage of 298 tents.

My name is Haidir . I and my colleague Widi from the Ministry of National Education are raising funds to assist the government in the provision of 3 school buildings in the villages of Rendang Luar Semalun, Mlepah Hamlet, and Sajang Hamlet, North Lombok.

We saw the three villages had suffered the most severe damage to school buildings.
We really need help from various parties to maintain education for children in Lombok.
