Good day to all,
Reaching out to your kind and generous hearts for our Baby Luis Reign (4 months now) who has Biliary atresia.- a rare disease of the bile ducts that affects only infants. In Biliary atresia, the bile ducts are blocked or undeveloped the causes bile to remain in the liver where it starts to destroy liver cells rapidly and cause cirrhosis or scarring of the liver. The only known treatment is a liver transplant. Presently his delicate body is unable to absorb proper nutrients to gain weight so he is being administered multivitamins to help him prepare for the said procedure. His blood clotting time is being corrected which will aid him during this procedure. The cost of liver transplants in the Philipines goes up to millions so it was suggested to do the operation in India where it is estimated to a minimum Php 1. 7 Million and above. with the availability of specialists with high survival success rates after the procedure. Though with his present state he is in need of an urgent liver transplant as he has a high risk for bleeding.
The target is to have his immunity prepared to handle the procedure to perform the procedure as early as march otherwise the transplant success rate lower for each month that is missed.
His mommy is not working and his daddy is a regular policeman whose income is just enough for daily needs. We know we are not alone in this journey as Luis Reign fights for the life we would do everything for baby Luis Reign to live life to the fullest.

Our baby had high ammonia, he started bleeding and had cardiac arrest. He fought but body was weak to recuperate. Baby we love you so much that we. . . . .

Update posted by Cindy Jane Batton at 01:28 pmGood evening everyone..My little goldy warrior is here at the ICU right now..His electrolytes are low, specially his sodium.Luis need to be stable, so that we will proceed to the next procedures..I am so much thankful for All the prayers and donations for Luis condition,Let us still continue to pray

Baby Luis Reign has been admitted back to the hospital today as his sodium levels are not in good condition along with his PT time that needs to be normalized. Despite TIME not being on our side we still like to focus on
