Campaign Story
La Mariposa is a social and environmental enterprise in Nicaragua which uses ALL the profit from the Spanish school and eco hotel to fund a wide range of projects are based on principles of care for people, care for the earth and care for animals. Due to political unrest here a huge number of bookings have been cancelled and we are in danger of closing down. 80 employees will lose their jobs and many others in the local community will also suffer if this happens. Please help us keep going.

Update posted by Paulette Goudge at 07:22 pmUPDATE 22nd MayTook a day off yesterday and went out and about visiting Masaya, Catarina, Niquinomo – there are still roadblocks here and there (please note roadblocks here really do BLOCK the road, they are not moveable little orange plastic cones in the middle of the highway!) which are undoubtedly. . . . .
