Campaign Story
THE ISSUE:
Last week, Kizanne James was diagnosed with a retinal detachment. This occurs when the thin lining inside the eye called the retina, begins to separate from the blood vessels that supply it with nutrients and oxygen. Without prompt treatment, it will lead to blindness in the affected eye, in Kizanne’s case, doctors estimate that she can go blind within the next 3 weeks if her eye is not immediately operated on.
Kizanne's surgery is scheduled for Saturday 20th August, 2016 (THIS SATURDAY).
The surgery cost $30,000 TTD ($5000USD), and further after-care will cost $30,000TTD ($5000USD).
There is also fees associated with fundraising on these forums and receiving the payments which amounts to $6000TTD or $1000USD
Kizanne requires support to the amount of $66,000TTD or $11,000USD
