This is Jude.

He was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Neuroblastoma (cancer of the adrenal gland) in July 2015.

At the end of July Jude started with chemotherapy. He would face 4 sessions of chemo followed by surgery and then 3 more sessions of chemo.

After the initial 4 blocks of chemo it was very apparent that Jude was responding exceptionally well and the tumour had already shrunk by 90%!!

Surgery was still a major procedure, but after just 5 days Jude was up and walking again.

Jude keeps going from strength to strength and after recovering from each treatment, he has bounced back stronger than before!

He has now also completed 14 doses of radiation therapy.

Jude is currently undergoing his biggest challenge yet... a stem cell transplant. This involves very high doses of chemotherapy and a transplant during 4 - 6 weeks of isolation period.

The medical expenses are obviously very high, but there are also other expenses which add up. Jude requires special nutrition and high quality supplements to maintain his general state of well-being and to support his immune system after all the treatments are completed.

We have received amazing support from our community, school, family and friends throughout this whole ordeal. It has helped us to remain strong and most importantly the positive thoughts and prayers have carried Jude and allowed him to sail through the most challenging circumstances, always smiling and radiating love and light!
