Save Jarod

Dear Friends!

Approximately 10,000 men and women are wrongfully convicted with criminal charges each year.  This year, what seemed to be a general startling statistic, has now become the reality for the most caring and loving soul I know, my brother, Jarod Jones. 

Jarod is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa and a father of one, Madison Elaine Jones.  He is highly creative and has sung for and received esteem from many including Marvin Hamlisch, the Pittsburgh Symphony Opera, George Bush II, and our current President in Chief, Barack Obama.  In addition to, he has attended the Cleveland Institute of Music and Wilberforce University where he pledged to the fraternity Omega Psi Phi Incorporated. 

Recently, he has been accused of a horrible crime in Dayton, OH that he did not commit.  The person who has accused him has named 2 other persons as well; however, due to my families’ financial situation we cannot afford an attorney to fight on his behalf.  If convicted (falsey), my dear brother will be facing 10 years to Life in prison.

While in jail he has helped to bring new souls to Christ and is hoping to use this as a testimony as he continues to move into the Ministry. 

If we could break down the bars and proclaim his innocence we would, but our legal system is not cheap and seems to protect only those who can afford the trouble they create.

I am petitioning to you today, with all that I am, to help our family in raising monies for his defense!  I am in the process of working another full time job to commit those funds to his defense, but my mother and I are just two and cannot do this alone.  WE NEED YOU!!! 

Please feel free to donate anything you can, as every penny counts. 

The retainer fee for a lawyer is $5,000 and then we'll have to pay for the actual defense and fees involved with that.  We are also hoping to pay for his bond of $10,000 to bring him home while we work on his defense.
