Save Jack

Jack is resting comfortably. The review of referrals for a surgeon begins tomorrow. He is going to try some soft dog food since he kept scrambled eggs down well. Dori keeps licking the wound when he is out of the kennel. We have modified our routine. Now when letting the dogs out to use the bathroom we are in the fence with the gate secure with the dogs on a leash to ensure that they can not leave the yard under any circumstances. We double check to make sure they are in the house before we leave. We have taught the kids to triple check the door when they leave for school. Words can not express the deep emotion I feel for the support and love we have received. Please keep kindess in your hearts. If you a praying person, please pray for everyone involved both directly and indirectly. Pray for those in the community that this has affected in any way.
