Save Gingers sight

Please help me restore and save sweet little Gingers sight.  Ginger is a 5 year old shepard beagle mix ( at least we think). I  found her straying the streets late one evening picking up any garbage off of peoples front tree lawns that she could eat.  I was able to get her into my car hoping to find her owner locally but had no luck. We searched high and low for weeks but realized she was probably let go after finding out from our vet that she was Hypothyroid, extreme skin allergies and worst of all diabetic. Ater having many terrible seizures we got her health under control for the most part but alittle to late for her eye sight due to her diabetes.  Gingers diabetes caused such severe cataracts that she is close to completely blind.  This very sweet and loving girl has high hopes from the optomologist to restore her vision and let her have a very healthy and and active life back considering she is at such a young age. The only downfall is that they need to do the surgery soon before glaucoma sets in then the risk is much higher and of course much more painful.  Please help me help this abondoned precious doggie who has had such a hard life. Ginger deserves to have the best care possible after being left out on the street to fend for her self especially with her life threating disease. Once her sight is restored Ginger will be searching for her new forever home with parents that will love her and care for her unconditionally. Please find it in your heart to help.
