Save Ghouta

The suburb of Damascus has been under siege for 4 years. The situation has intensified within the past few weeks. Hospitals have been attacked and civilians have died to such an extent that has not been seen in the last four years. Here are the statistics: Reuters describes it as the highest death toll since 2013. 400000 people have been cut off from the rest of the world as no one can leave. One kilo of rice now costs 4.50$. Children are malnourished with more than 10% acutely malnourished. Right now it is just about the essentials , food and medicine. Safety and mere survival. In a week 520 people died with thousands severely injured. Most people are hiding in underground bunkers with no food, water or electricity. A large number of babies aged between 6 months and 5 years have nothing to eat. Children under 6 months lack the formula whose mothers cannot produce milk. The situation is Heartbreaking. As I write this , I decided not to just "pray for ghouta" but to make the most change I can. Each dollar you give could end up saving a life.
