Campaign Story
Mr Cosmo is an 8 year old Tibetan Spaniel who has been recently diagnosed with a type of rectal cancer. He's had one surgery and that went great. We've learned from post-op exams the cancer has metastasized to other parts of his digestive tract.
During 2010 to 2011 Cosmo served as a "pet therapy" dog if you will- to my grandfather before he passed June of 2011 from heart conditions. My grandfather (also a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel) suffered from dementia, and had a little white dog with similar qualities who passed prior to moving down to Atlanta from DC. Cosmo (renamed Bo during times with my grandfather) spend every evening with him sitting in his lap watching DVD's of the Honey Mooners and other retro shows and movies.
A few years later WAMMY Cancer. There is a medication similar to chemo for humans. This will providing funding for two treatments for a year, and just a little more hope for this little guy.
