Focus On Malnutrition (FOM) is a non profit charity organization founded by a group of volunteer health workers across Uganda (Africa) to alleviate malnutrition.
Over many years children, pregnant mothers and persons living HIV/AIDS have been dying of complications resulting from under-nourishment.
Today this high rate of malnutrition accounts for 40% of child deaths and 49% of stunting growth,
Our research indicators reveal that under-nutrition contributes 90% of all children admission cases in public hospitals and 500 in a population of 1000 pregnant mothers are malnourished.
we are a group of health volunteers already working together to improve the health of our endangered children, mothers and brothers and sisters.
Our outstanding challenge is financial support to facilitate various volunteer activities in the field of work as well as acquisition of assets and equipment of work and this is to benefit the country as a whole.
This is the sole reason as to why we are now here to raise our humble request to you our dear partners to support us and enable us to reach our attainable mission.
