Save Cat Cotton

My girl Cotton is currently admitted because of pyometra. She need emergency surgery to remove her uterus.

I didn't get to take a video or photo of her at this time because I was too stressed and worried about her situation. Hopefully, when she is back home and on recovery, i can snap a photo.

Her symptom started as a vaginal spotting, then with increasing amount of bleeding. I thought she was pregnant and was just having a miscarriage but when I bought her to the vet and they did an ultrasound, she was found to have pyometra or pus/blood in the urerine lining, indicating infection. Hence, she was admitted for the surgery.

I really hope my Cotton will get through this ordeal and will go home as this clingy and sweet cat in the video.

This is one of the reason why spaying/neutering your cats is important. Because pyometra is a relatively common disease among unspayed feline. Worse, this disease could be fatal to them.

If this will reach the heart of other furparents, i will appreaciate donation of any amount for my furbaby. Currently, i have 8 cats under my care and the financial aspect of caring for them is no joke. 😢
