My name is Yvette I'm a Single Mother my Son Blade is 13 and I'm his Sole Provider. I owned my own home and my own air conditioning business. My home was awarded to me by my ex husband in our divorce settlement on June 2016. I used all my inheritance to pay off the mortgage. My ex husband then brought a false case against me which the Judge found in my favour. During this time he had all my business tools stolen under case number 248/12/2016 Roodepoort Police Station. This caused me to lose my business as the Police have to to now refused or neglected to action the search warrant to retrieve my tools. I out of pure desperation took a loan against my home with a Christian friend of mine in order to pay my legal bills as well as all the arrears on my bills. Bank wanted to repossess my vehicle. I used some of the money to change my office into a cottage for an extra income. And I have been applying for jobs in the legal sector as this was my forte but to date I've been unsuccessful. I have also moved out of my house and am renting it out. My Son and I are now living on the property in a Studio. After a few months my Christian friend filed to court to have my Mother who is 70 evicted as well as myself and my Son. Stating that I sold my home and deny a loan. The Courts found in my favour but I still need to get my house back in my name. I've tried the Law Society to assist me free of charge but it's been nearly 2 years and they've done nothing to assist me. I need to use an Attorney in private practice to help me prove my case in High Court in order to get my home back in my name. I'm not making ends meet.
