California Condor Recovery

California Condor was once common across the North American continent. Because of its magnificent flight, it was an attractive target for hunters who brought a view of the brink of extinction. In 1987, when the last condor living in freedom was caught, their total number was 27 individuals. However, thanks to good captive breeding, since 1992 they have again been released. In 2007, 127 California condors lived in California, Arizona, and Mexico. As of 2019, the number of individuals exceeded 500, more than half of which live in the wild.
Powerline collisions and electrocutions have claimed the lives of several condors.
Saving the endangered species of Calipharnian condor:
My team and I are doing everything possible to save the California Condor chicks who lost their parents from . Our goal is to create a shelter for these noble birds that have come to us injured and need treatment. We help than we can in the wild, but without your support we will be very hard to save birds!
