We need you.
Meet Calico, a very sweet, lively, and lovable cat officer in our campus here in Manila, Philippines.
However last January 10, we observed that she is not eating her usual way and suffering immensely from colds which makes her looks like in the pictures below. According to the initial diagnosis conducted, she was positive with severe gingivitis (why she cannot either eat food or drink water), ear mites, and respiratory problems. She was tested today with FIV and FeLV, and fortunately, she was negative to these immunodeficiency virus. However, we still cannot rule out the main cause of her respiratory problem. Her situation makes her further suffer from dehydration. As of the moment, the veterinary doctor prescribes confinement of Calico for them to re-hydrate via intravenous injection. That is what we are doing right now, she is confined in one of veterinary clinics here in Manila.
We are knocking in your doors for any amount of donation which will be utilized for the treatment and recovery of our campus cat. We badly need your help because each day of confinement costs PHP1,200 or around ~$23. Any amount, small or big, is already an extension of Calico’s life.
Thank you very much!
