Save Blake: Fighting Off Heart Disease

Hello to everyone. My cat Blake who is two years old suffered from heart failure, and limb paralysis on both hindlegs and one front leg on 16/12/2017. He was diagnosed with Saddle Thrombosis also known as HCM, which causes blood clots in his body. It is an extremely painful condition for a cat and has a poor prognosis. I immediately took him to the vets the day he started crying out for me when I found out he was paralysed and panting heavily. At first, I thought he may have hurt himself by jumping, however he is a house cat so I knew immediately that something was very wrong. After spending a couple of days at the local RSPCA veterinary hospital, the vet in charge of Blake there said there was nothing we can do and that we had to put him down. My heart fell apart, I knew there was another way around and that he can't go this way.

I bought him home and since have started a natural treatment. He is also seeing a private vet at Village Vets who has been very helpful in monitoring Blake every few days but as an unemployed law student the bills are racking up quickly and I fear that I may not be able to continue his treatment due to financial reasons. There is a chance he can gain back his front leg and hindlegs with this treatment and become a happy and loving house cat again. I'm in continuous care for him at home.
