Pearl was a 2 weeks old kitten when she was rescued by my boyfriend who found her in a SAF camp during his service. She was raised with love and care up till today and recently turned 2 years old on 10th April 2018.
On Friday, 13th April 2018, Pearl was missing from home which worries all of us. We went for a search around our home premises which was at the 8th floor and also around the void decks. After 30 minutes, she was found on the 2nd floor corridor covered in blood.
We initially thought she fell from the 8th floor. However, she couldnt fit through the opening of the ledge nor could climb without any assistance to jump over it. We suspect a chance that someone may threw her down but there is no CCTV around to prove that.
We rushed Pearl to the vet where she was referred to a pet hospital due to her serious injury. She has severe broken bones on her left limb and needed to go through surgery to have it reconstructed or worst, amputated. The chances of her bones to be successfully reconstructed is very slim which may lead to it being amputated. The fee from consultation to tests (blood test, xrays) and surgery cost atleast around $5000. The hospital does not accept payment by installment.
My boyfriend is having some financially difficulty at the moment and need help with the fee. We appreciate all the help that we could get for the best of Pearl. We just want her to be safe and to recover fast, and we would do anything for her.
