Save Baby Connor

Our son, Connor has a life threatening disease called Hypophosphatasia. This is a very rare disease (1/100 000) and when we were first introduced to this illness there was no cure.  We have found out that a pharmaceutical company called Alexion has a trial drug called Asfotase Alfa and we have been offered the opportunity by Alexion to participate in the trial and will need to travel to Pittsburgh in the United States.  Alexion will cover all of Connor's trial related costs such as the drug, our flights and my lodging but unfortunately, due to it be unethical, is not able to cover Connor's everday ICU costs in the US e.g. Oxygen and the physician.   We have approached our Medical Aid/Health Insurance and they are not interested in offering our child a chance at life as they have declined every attempt of ours and hence our need to fund raise.  Please help us reach our goal of seeing our little baby grow.
