This is my nephew, baby boy Christian Macalisang. Few hours after he was born (July 16 MN), the doctors found out that he is unable to defecate causing his stomach to be bloated. He was born in Siquijor Provincial Hospital and due to lack of facilities and with no specialist, they were referred to Silliman Univeristy Medical Center in Dumaguete City. Baby Christian underwent an operation on Monday afternoon (July 17) and it lasted almost 4 hours. According to the doctors, he has a hole in his small intestine and the feces were stuck inside the stomach. And if the operation was not performed immediately, the baby could be poisoned. The operation was successful and baby Christian is currently at the Pediatric ICU.
But I am writing this to ask for your help. Yes, your help. The parents are minimum wage earners. Financially, they are not capable to pay off everything. We are all doing our best to help the family financially, but we are also poor. We are knocking on your kind hearts for any help that you can offer. Any amount will do, just to help us keep going. And of course, your prayers.
Baby Christian is still at Silliman Univeristy Medical Center in Dumaguete, 4th floor, Pediatric ICU. Contact#: 09755291926
Please help us save Baby Christian.
Thank you everyone and God bless.
