Abraham Latorre Basco is a 3 year old boy who desperately needs your help. He is suffering from a brain cancer - Medulloblastoma. The size of the tumor is 7.3 centimeter brain tumor located at the posterior fossa. He already underwent Ventriculoperitoneal shunting that removed cerebrospinal fluid in his brain. But this is to only treat the hydrocephalus that caused him seizures.
Doctors cannot remove the tumor yet because of it's 7.3 cm. size. Hence, they are shrinking the tumor thru chemo therapy which is currently undergoing. He will have a brain surgery to remove the shrunken tumor.
Help us fund his brain surgery. It is very expensive and our family cannot afford it.
PLEASE HELP US WIN OUR BATTLE AGAINST BRAIN CANCER - MEDULLOBLASTOMA.
Abraham gained his angel wings and is now playing in heaven. It took a while for me to update this page as I am still grieving for losing my son. I would like to thank everyone who help us support my son's medication thru this GoGetFunding. Again, thank you so much for helping my one and only child. God bless us all.
On July 30, 2016, Bambam underwent four MRI procedures: Brain, Cervical Spine, Thoracic Spine and Lumbosacral Spine MRI. All three spine MRIs shows no metastasis. However, the brain MRI confirmed what they saw on Bambam's July 20 CTScan. His tumor grew bigger. According to the result, the mass currently measures 7.4 x 9.1 x 9.6 cm in AP, transverse, and in craniocaudal dimensions compared with the previous measurement of 4.3 x 4.5 x 7.3 on March 16 brain MRI. Bambam can longer walk or use his left hand. He can no longer play nor talk.
Please continue praying for my one and only child Bambam.

Abraham was sent to the ER because his face was red and swollen because of rashes. He was eventually admitted. Doctors found out that he is allergic to Keppra - anticonvulsant that he has been taking. Your donations will greatly help us to pay the hospital bill. Thank you!
Bambam was confined on June 3 for his dose of Vinkristine and Cyclophosphamade + Mesna (Chemo therapy). On the second hospital day, he had an episode of mild seizure described as blank stare and horizontal nystagmus. They gave him Diazepam and increased the dosage of his anti-convulsant. He has been discharged from the hospital yesterday.
He will have his CBC blood test tomorrow to check if we can go ahead with the Vinkristine shot on Tuesday.
Bambam was rushed to the ER because of a 38.7 degree Celcius fever. He was given antibiotics to be taken twice a day for seven days. They still do not know where the infection is coming from. Lab test shows good on urinalysis, Sodium, Pottasium and SGPT. However, platelet count and segmenters shows high while lymphocytes shows low. They will not be administering the chemo supposedly scheduled tomorrow since there's an infection. We are now back home. His temperature is back to normal at 37 degree Celcius. We have to keep monitoring his temperature.
Bambam had his fourth Vinkristine shot last May 26 at the Cardinal Santos Cancer Center. He had his CBC test done. Platelet Count shows high. Segmenters shows high while Lymphocytes shows low. Though results shows that some are below or above the normal range, Bambam is a very strong boy fighting brain cancer Medulloblastoma.
Bambam will be confined on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, for his Cychlophosphamade session (chemo therapy).
Abraham started to lose his hair so we decided to have his head shaved. He had his third shot of Vinkristine (Chemo) on May 18, 2016 as an outpatient. He will have his fourth shot of Vinkristine on May 25, 2016.
Spine MRI results shows no evidence of spinal drop metastasis. Abraham just started his chemo therapy on May 3, 2016. He was confined at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center for two days for his chemo. He had Vincristine on May 3 and Cychlophosphamade on May 4. He vomited a few times. He is back home.
