Campaign Story
Abraham Latorre Basco is a 3 year old boy who desperately needs your help. He is suffering from a brain cancer - Medulloblastoma. The size of the tumor is 7.3 centimeter brain tumor located at the posterior fossa. He already underwent Ventriculoperitoneal shunting that removed cerebrospinal fluid in his brain. But this is to only treat the hydrocephalus that caused him seizures.
Doctors cannot remove the tumor yet because of it's 7.3 cm. size. Hence, they are shrinking the tumor thru chemo therapy which is currently undergoing. He will have a brain surgery to remove the shrunken tumor.
Help us fund his brain surgery. It is very expensive and our family cannot afford it.

Bambam's tumor grew
Update posted by Genevieve Latorre Basco at 05:25 amOn July 30, 2016, Bambam underwent four MRI procedures: Brain, Cervical Spine, Thoracic Spine and Lumbosacral Spine MRI. All three spine MRIs shows no metastasis. However, the brain MRI confirmed what they saw on Bambam's July 20 CTScan. His tumor grew bigger. According to the result, the mass currently measures. . . . .

Allergic reaction to his anticonvulsant
Update posted by Genevieve Latorre Basco at 12:35 pmAbraham was sent to the ER because his face was red and swollen because of rashes. He was eventually admitted. Doctors found out that he is allergic to Keppra - anticonvulsant that he has been taking. Your donations will greatly help us to pay the hospital bill. Thank you!
Mild seizure during hospital confinement

Fever of 38.7 degree Celsius

Bambam's fourth Vinkristine shot
Update posted by Genevieve Latorre Basco at 03:52 amBambam had his fourth Vinkristine shot last May 26 at the Cardinal Santos Cancer Center. He had his CBC test done. Platelet Count shows high. Segmenters shows high while Lymphocytes shows low. Though results shows that some are below or above the normal range, Bambam is a very strong boy
Abraham's 3rd birthday on May 24

Head shaved for Abraham
Update posted by Genevieve Latorre Basco at 03:47 amAbraham started to lose his hair so we decided to have his head shaved. He had his third shot of Vinkristine (Chemo) on May 18, 2016 as an outpatient. He will have his fourth shot of Vinkristine on May 25, 2016.
First Chemo Therapy Session
