Have you ever had one of those head-slapping, A-HA moments? An insight that, looking back, seems to divide your life into “before” and “after”?

I’ve had a handful. This particular one hitted me not long ago. I was walking out of the beautiful Bahai Gardens in Haifa, it was few steps out of it before I saw this historical building that I fall in love with, a spur of the moment curiosity that makes an individual wonder about ordinary, yet important things. Like, What if i can escape modern mundanity and tawdry advertisement to an authentic and genuine experience? What if i can live in the realm of the 18th century, while enjoying the luxury of what is modern and technological? Oh! And What if i can also make it enjoyable experience to others?

It started with a thought, hope, and cost, and those three things were the only endowment it has ever had. By, figuratively speaking, passing the hat, gifts, loans and donations accumulated to $ 137,000.

I have agreed to leave my home, risign my work and live in this place, invested all savings I had and took every possible loan to make a hostel in it، but at the same time maintain it and preserve its value.

I rented this place and started decorating it by myself, even the tables were hand made by me and my friends, it was literally my baby, the visitors were enjoying it and it gets very good rating in every possible website. I was sure :) as

I genuinely believed that this place offers an opportunity and experience to get a maximum amount of satisfaction for a very low sum.

Suddenly the owners informed me that they are planning to sell it for investors at the end of 2020 to turn it into a commercial complex and this amazing place would be turned into a congested mayhem. But!! If I want to buy it I have the priority.

As I exhausted my resources I am passing the hat and surfing the internet from site to site. Because I still believe in this project and still agree to do this if I can get doners to help in purchasing this building.

Among the famous visitors to this place that was built by a German architect named George Saus, was Welham 2nd, the emperor of Germany in 1893. Translated from a Turkish/Persian word meaning barn, Yakhor is a large farm building used for housing carriages and farm animals in Haifa. Being the first carriages factory and having a breathtaking view of the Karmel Mountain and Bahai Garden , visitors will be fulfilled with an astonishing reception. Visitors can take a tour to the mountain where they can experience visiting monument of emperor Welham 2nd in the Karmal mountain. Preserving the historical value and state, the place was kept in its original form with its well and unruined.
