Baby Phuc Minh was born on 04 December 2018, but he doesn’t have an easy life.
He was abused since he was born, as his father is a drug abuser, so whenever his father was angry, he would take it out on Baby Phuc Minh. The last attack produced the impact so bad that Baby Phuc Minh was hit on the head, injured, swollen and badly infected.
Instead of taking responsibility, his father ran away, and prior to that, his mother also abandon him several months prior to the incident.
Unfortunately, Baby Phuc Minh is not the only one, his 2 brothers, both 7 and 3 years old respectively, were also subject to the abuse of the father.
Now the 3 of them have no one to take care of them, and luckily, a monk from the temple took them in, and start taking care of them.
Baby Phuc Minh was sent to the hospital in Vietnam, but the doctors there are unable to help as the swollen was so bad that they did not realised that it was Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which was diagnosed here in Singapore. MRSA is a bacterium that causes infections in different parts of the body. It's tougher to treat than most strains of staphylococcus aureus -- or staph -- because it's resistant to some commonly used antibiotics.
With no choice, the kind hearted monk brought Baby Phuc Minh to Singapore in order to save him. He came to Singapore on July 31st and was operated to cleanse the wound and insert a tube to drain out the fluid from the head.
Doctor says he will need at least $120,000.00 to treat the MSRA from growing in his head. This amount of money is too big for a monk who lives in a small town in Vietnam to bear
Baby Phuc Minh’s life is now at risk, and please if you can, help him to live so he can have a life.
Funds raised will be paid directly to the hospital for Baby Phuc Minh treatment.
Thank you for your kind heart and humanity to save abused Baby Phuc Minh.
