For many years now, i have wanted to recycle waste vegetable oil to produce Biodiesel and have not been motivated enough to get started. The spark i long hoped for finally came when i visited a remote village in Southerrn Nigeria. The village has a population of about 3,000 people. Driving to that village was like the 9th wonder of the world, as the only road that links it from the next village, a distance of about 40km is a dead trap itself.

We got there in the evening around 5pm after 6 hours, and when it was dark, we found out that the only light apart from the local lantern made of a tin and piece of cloth soaked in kerosene was the headlamp of our car. It was terrible, and got me thinking about the forgotten people in our world.

I have know for a long time how to make biodiesel and immediately realized i could help these people by teaching 2 people how to make enough biodiesel to run the diesel generator i will give to them. I will show them how easy it is to make diesel with a small biodiesel processor i will buy from Green Fuels of America. I have already had an electrician over there and he has given the cost of a simple wiring to connect and link the houses there to the plant.

This is a temporary measure, as i will immediately after begin to look into a more longer lasting solution. Please help me help these come out from the dark and God will indeed bless you.
