We are a group of friends with a common goal to help the mother of our college classmate, Jun Roche Romero, in her battle against sickness. We have started this fundraiser in the hopes of helping their family meet the bills that have become due, sustain her maintenance medications and add funds for upcoming cardiac procedures.
Tita Lolita Ferrer Romero is a 56 year old widowed mother of three children. Her youngest daughter passed away suddenly due to illness just last January 2019.
Tita Lolet is warm, loving, God-fearing and responsible. She worked hard to raise her children on her own. She used to be a life plan advisor but had to stop when she was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus type 2. She has been ill for the past 3 years and has been in and out of the hospital because of many complications of Diabetes Mellitus. Her left leg was amputated in 2017. She’s presently diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure FC IV, Diabetes Mellitus, type 2, Community Acquired Pneumonia.
With the long ordeal with this illness that has lots of comorbidities, their funds had run low and Jun has depleted his means to continue further treatment for his mother. Jun, being the breadwinner, has exhausted his savings and maxed out his HMO during the previous confinements.
These are very hard times for the family who has been so strong despite of the taxing problems they are experiencing. His Mom needs to undergo a coronary angiogram to discern the definitive treatment for her heart which is possibly an angioplasty or a heart bypass surgery.
Jun has been a good friend and classmate to us. I hope your kind hearts can extend some help by donating for his Mom’s treatment. We will be forever grateful for your love and generosity. May the Lord bless your good hearts!
