SAVE A LIFE: KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PATIENT

Currently, we are now here in SPMC-Davao. My sister, May Ann H. Babaran, was known as Chronic Kidney Disease Secondary to Chronic Gromerulonephritis S/P Kidney Transplant Patient (December 2014).

April 2018 - my sister had onset of loose bowel movement and vomiting, sought consult at local hospital (St. Elizabeth - Gensan and Brokenshire Hospital - Davao) and was subsequently admitted for elevated creatinine (400).

May 2018 - my sister had onset postprandial vomiting associated with loose bowel movement, sought consult at local hospital (St. Elizabeth - Gensan). She was admitted due to elevated serum potassium and creatinine (600). STAT Hemodialysis was done x4 and was subsequently referred to SPMC-Davao for further management. These are the following tests needed:

1. Kidney Biopsy - P55,000.00

3. SD40 - P6,180.00

4. DSA Single Antigen - P27,900.00

5. Thrombopoietin - P15,000.00/shot

6. Dialysis - P5,000.00/session

7. Platelet Apharesis - P15,000.00/session

8. Pack Red Blood Cells - P1,600.00/if no availability of blood

9. Crossmatching - P800.00

10. Radiation for PRBC and Platelet Apharesis - P11,000.00/session

11. Leukocyte Filter - P2,000.00/every blood transfusion
