Last June 12, 2016 I gave birth to a preterm baby boy. He was only 33 weeks and weights about 1.9 kg. When I saw him he was so tiny and I just wondered why he did not cry when he came out. So i knew that there was a problem as I did not even experienced the so called "unang yakap" as he was rushed directly to NICU. After few hours in the recovery room finally I was able to transfer to my room. I immediately asked my mother and my husband if I could see my son. My husband at first was hesitant to tell me our son's situation. They were told by his doctor that he had respiratory distress and if continued he needed respirator, and his chance of his survival is not guaranteed. I was able to see him on the 2nd day, I cried quietly seeing my son with respirator, I spoke to our "little man" not to give up as mommy wont let him do it. From the result of his x-ray we were told that our son suffered from pneumonia. There started his battle. Everyday we visit him more than the visiting hours. I asked and prayed to Jesus if you let my son live I will continue doing pledge for others who are in need.

Days passed they tried to give him milk through ogt unfortunately they had to stop due to coffee ground. After few days they resumed giving him milk. He responded well, thought that he is doing okay but his neonatologist informed us that he is not responding well in the antibiotics from the hospital so we had to buy branded ones from outside every 3 days amounting to 6 thousand pesos (2 vials) ending us empty handed. Thanks to our friends and family who never stop helping us.

After almost a month, thank god he is cleared from pneumonia though they heard murmur in his heart but his cardiologist says that its normal we just need to do another 2D echo after few months. We are now currently doing fund raisings like:

* baking/cooking recipe for a cause

* pillow for a cause

all posted in our fb page fb.me/littledudscloset or m.me/littledudscloset

We are really thankful to all the people whom we met and never met for helping us unconditionally. We are knocking in your kind hearts to help us financially in paying the doctors fee and hospital bill. Thank God that he is finally ready to be discharged however due to financial constraints we are unable to bring him home.

Please help us may it be big or small amount we would really appreciate it so we would be able to give our "little man" loads of hugs and kisses for doing a job well done. For fighting and never give up on his battle.

Thank you in advance and god bless

Sincerely,

Ann & Gilbert
