Save a Life, Give a Drop~Voluntary Blood Donors Campaign

Thank You for your time: Our Project :blooddonors.or.ke: is an initiative of Voluntary non renumerated Blood Donors seeking to run an online database of willing blood donors in Kenya. We contact donors in an event donations from their blood group is required. We aim to bridge the donor-recepient gap as thousands of lives are lost as a result of inadequate and/or untimely blood availability. We want to start a country wide Campain to register and have a database of frequent Blood Donors within all regions of the country where they can be called to save lives. Hospitals and/or individuals contact us in an event blood is required. After getting all the information we need, we will then pass the request through the ‘blooddonors management system’ database filter and contact people matching the required blood group within the closest proximity to the hospital and request them to donate. Our website wil give an option to SIGN UP and get a friend to sign up too and thus minimizing deaths due to lack of untimely blood.

Our services and all Donors prospects are voluntary donors. The funds we are looking for will go along way in helping us achieve the following:

• Design, Implement a Blood Bank Management System
• Design, Implement and Host Blood Donors Website
• Run a Countrywide Campaign educating people on need for Voluntarily Donating Blood
• Print Campaign Material
• Transport to all regions across the country targeting over 500,000 Donors
