Save A Life, Fight Cancer

We are knocking on your kind and generous hearts to help us raise funds for my mama Leilani Berza’s medical treatment against cancer.

She was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer with bone metastasis last May 2017 and had her surgery, sessions of chemotherapy and radiation therapy on the same year. We then discovered on March 2019 that the cancer had spread to her liver. It was managed with oral chemotherapy medications since.

On her routine labs last February 2020, the sizes and number of her liver masses increased. She again had few sessions of chemotherapy with 2 sets of different medications but the masses did not respond and the sizes kept aggresively increasing. Her oncologist suggested that she undergoes targeted therapy that will start once we do the Molecular Profiling.

Molecular Profiling is a test to determine the genetic characteristics and biomakers of a patient’s cancer cells. The data gathered will be use to create targeted therapies that are aimed to work better for the specific cancer tumor profile identified. This test alone will cost Php 223,000.00 before we even start the therapy and medications to be given.

Mama is currently having intense abdominal pains (even with pain killers) that give her discomfort and difficulty in eating and doing her daily activities.
