Save a Heart and a Family

A family in Egypt desperately needs our help. The father and supporter of the family became injured and suffered catastrophic injuries following all of the fighting during the revolution in Egypt. This man needs an urgent heart operation to repair 3 holes in his heart to survive. Currently the family and the surrounding community have come together to help and so far they have payed for some of his hospital stay and medical bills. However the rest of the medical expenses and the operation is required to save this man's life and to save the family. This man was working to support his wife and 4 children. Now that he is close to dying he is unable to support his family and young children. The family have now no place to live as they have been removed from the family home as they can no longer pay for the cost of the small flat they were staying in. The family have now been split up and staying in different community homes in Cairo with squalid conditions. No bathroom, and at least 6 people sleeping in 1 room with no running water or available food to eat. Help save this man and his family.
