Save a dream, Create a miracle…

Hello Everyone and thank you for your attention to my fund raiser!

My name is Christine but I go by Chris and I am engaged to my beautiful Fiance Leticia.

We hope to have a baby, but I have also been struggling with my identity.  I am transgender and I want to begin my testosterone treatment.  Before I can begin however, Leticia and I are going to be trying (In vitro fertilization) IVF

This is one of our last hopes to help start the family that we’ve always wanted and for me to begin my transgender change.

Many do not live everyday feeling as though they are living in the wrong body, consciously aware that mind and body do not match.  However, that is my every day torture. 

I want to start my testosterone hormone treatment to begin the journey down the road to a full transgender change, but I am left torn knowing how important having a biological child means to me.  If I were to start testosterone now I may become infertile or run into serious complications down the road trying IVF.

The desperation to fit mind and body are conflicted with the importance of having a baby.  However, there is an option to acquire both and that is through IVF.   

We have already found a facility and have great doctors both for the fertility and for my transgender change. 

The last barrier that we need to pass is the financial barrier. For us, the cost of IVF is going to be around $17,000. A hefty price but well worth it.

We are full-time students and work part-time.  Trying to inquire that amount while having to pay everyday expenses has become a very difficult challenge and we are reaching out to you to help us raise that!

Everyday that I am forced to wait to begin my transgender change is another day full of the emotional and mental torture, knowing that my mind and body do not match.  The weight of the emotional roller coaster is unbearable, and the thought of not having a child is unimaginable for me.

We would be eternally grateful if you could make a contribution to help us secure the IVF treatment, and help us realize our dream of having a family and help me down my road to a new me! We are so grateful to have such caring people willing to lend a hand.
