SATINO is the abbreviation for Save and Teach the Innocent. Our Vision is to be a reliable organization who are focussing on raising awareness regarding education and talent towards children and youth.
Our Mission Statement is to help children and youth from different environments and to improve their life standards through education and talent improving.
The organization was founded in 2015 after I got back from travelling through some African countries. Those countries include Kenya, Malawi and Zambia and furthermore I visited 600 villages within 16 regions of my country Tanzania. I was on a project tour conducting research based on agriculture, economic development and child care.
Through this journey I had a chance to observe different lives of children who lived under difficult environments without quality education. Some were going through absolute poverty. Apart from poor life conditions, I have seen children's rights being violated. This was among the things that inspired me to start the journey on creating a better environment for kids to learn and grow comfortably. Furthermore, one of the main things that inspired me personally was whenever I had the time to play with kids from several villages, during my travels, they always illustrated talent and happiness.
That experience pushed me to start a non- profit organization to help children and youth to fulfill their dreams. Both through education and talents they might possess. Also I care a great deal about my contribution to the community towards accomplishing the Millennium Sustainable development Goals for Equality, Fair Education and Zero Poverty.
Currently at the SATINO Education Program we have 65 students within the age of 2 to 6 years, we have plans to house more kids next year in another village where children are used to walk long distances to go to school and therefore use a lot of time along the road, both back and forth. We believe if we succeed to fix this distance issue by starting a new school in the area of their village, we would be able to start by accommodating more than 40 little angels in that area.
The 4945USD will go strictly to finish the building in the rural area as demonstrated in the video. We are looking for potential project backers in order to being able to teach the kids that are currently living far outside the city of Arusha. There will be no allocation of the money. In case the fundraising exceeds our expected budget the actives and funding would be for material purchases such as school supplies and long-term financial investments. We at SATINO have competent staff who are able to handle the cash and cash equivalents and therefore make your potential funding for what matters the most, finish the building and implicit help the kids.
