Satchmo’s Surgical Fund

Good day! My name is Satchmo Saunders, and I have recently begun tending to a cyst that developed and has swollen under my chin. The swelling became so painful and uncomfortable that I sought professional medical assistance. I have been unemployed since the first month of 2016, yet I've been able to make ends meet by serving as a driver, and a service technician for hire between then and now. Unfortunately, this did not provide enough means to take on private medical insurance. Nevertheless, I've been able to save up several hundred dollars which I used to get the necessary medical attention.

I have cleared my initial debt with the medical facility, but sadly my medical expenses continued to grow. My doctor has informed me that to proceed we must undergo surgery to remove the cyst completely. He empathized with my unemployment situation, so he allowed me to take on the lowest possible rate he could do the surgery for, which amounts to $1,000.00 USD. He then suggested I go to the hospital for a quote on using the surgical theater there. The quote amounted to $1,848.00 USD. I have done all that I was able to do with the limited resources at my disposal, and I am humbly asking for any contributions to help me pay for the surgery.
