Sasha’s Tumour & Recovery

Sasha is a 12 year old Northern Inuit. She is a loving kind dog and is my family. She has had 2 surgeries in one week for Non Evasive Tumour Removal (Skin Cancer).

Sasha had major surgery for Pyometra 5 Years ago which was succesful, however they found a tumour inside her and removed this.

Sasha has been well since until in 2014 my partner left me and left me with her 3 dogs, Sasha, Kyle and Harley. From there things went downhill financially with everything in my name and the dogs not understanding where their Mum had gone without them. The dogs were never mine.....they came to live with me when my ex did.

Sasha's lifetime companion....Harley passed away last year and Sasha took it hard.

Sasha developed a lump on her front leg just over a year ago which grew at speed. I couldn't afford to take her to the vet as so many financial problems including notice of seeking possession. I took Sasha at the end of January as she pulled the skin off the top and began eating the tumour. Sasha had 2 surgeries in 1 week as the skin kept splitting rather than the stitches, as they did not have enough skin to close up. Neither was successful and i was told she would need treatment every day for a very long time due to infection. Sasha's Tumour is a Non Evasive Skin Cancer.

I have since been treating her at home with the agreement of 1 vet and have progressed well. Her pre med checks prior to surgery, show she is in surprisingly in A1 heath and worth the surgery.

I desperately need help of anything. The 2 surgeries came to just over £1200 and the vets are willing to allow a payment plan, however I am in trouble and in danger of losing my home I have lived in for the last 18 years. The dogs and my home are all I have. I do work but these "0" hours contracts in events security and things have been very difficult with little work over the winter.
