I am Saransh Regmi, a graduating student from The Icelandic Film School. The final thesis film for my graduation is right around the corner & I am raising funds for this vision of mine to become a reality.

I am an international student all the way from Nepal & I really want my film to stand out as I possess the skills of a true filmmaker and only lack funds as of now. If you could help me in any ways to bring this vision of my into a reality, feel free to donate to my cause. And if you are wondering what my film is about, here is a synopsis:

In "The Burden of the Blindfold,” six prisoners serving life sentences find themselves facing an unexpected proposition. Blindfolded and handcuffed, they are ushered into a stark room with a lone table at its center. Confusion reigns until the jailer's ominous voice breaks the silence, presenting a chilling ultimatum: five of them can earn complete immunity and freedom, but only if they unanimously vote on which one among them will be left behind.

Tension grips the group as they grapple with the weight of their choices. Each prisoner brings their own past, regrets, and desires to the table, creating a dynamic interplay of personalities and motives. As they debate the consequences of their decision, alliances form, secrets are revealed, and moral boundaries are tested.

Echoes of "12 Angry Men" resonate as the prisoners dissect the evidence, challenge assumptions, and confront their biases. Emotions run high, tempers flare, and the line between justice and self-preservation blurs. With the clock ticking and the stakes higher than ever, they must confront the darkest corners of their humanity to reach a unanimous verdict.

"The Burden of the Blindfold" is a gripping exploration of morality, justice, and the human capacity for redemption. As the prisoners grapple with the impossible choice before them, they ultimately discover that true freedom lies not in escaping their pasts, but in facing them with honesty and integrity.
