Sarah Jane’s Brain Cavernoma Fight Fund

My name is Sarah Jane B. Libao, 29 years of age, and work as a Medical Secretary at The Medical City Ortigas Center. Last few months, I felt the numbness on my left part of face, I ignore it and thinking this was only effect of my blood sugar since I am a diabetic person. However, last December 22, 2019, the numbness and tingling extended on one side of my body. The same day, I immediately consult a doctor and told to undergo CT Scan. Result showed that there was a bleeding on the brain and recommended to undergo MRI at the soonest.After 3 days, MRI result showed that I am suffering from Cavernoma.

Unfortunately, the Doctor told us that we cannot directly treat Cavernoma with Medicine and the treatment is through surgery. The doctor recommend us to undergo Gamma Knife Surgery as open surgery is more risky option which will cause to weaken the left part of the body.

Due to this condition, I have stopped working as unfit to work. This is the reason why I am seeking help and asking for financial assistance as Gamma Knife Surgery Treatment is a high cost. The treatment cost is approx. 630,000 php ( 12,306.61 US Dollar).
