SanWild’s Counter Poaching Units in need

The SanWild Wildlife Trust has a dedicated Counter Poaching Unit that we are very proud of. They are the most valued and important individuals at SanWild.

These are the people on the ground and the people that put their lives at risk each and every day! These are the people that protect those that cannot protect themselves, against the murderous greed of poachers, and kingpins out there.

We can't thank these guys enough, for what they are doing, for the welfare of the animals at SanWild. These people are their guardian angels, their protectors.

SanWild desperately needs your help, in ensuring that these guys have everything they need in order to do their job successfully - Suitable equipment is expensive.

Their salaries are R5000 per month (+-$390). SanWild also provides all their food, accommodation, transport, diesel as well as clothing.

It is a WAR out there, make NO mistake! More so, than what one realizes! But we need to win it, and unfortunately this does not come cheap. We have limited resources for funding all of this on our own.

We are trying to get our small private bush camp, The Sticky Tongue, up and running as quickly as we can. This will hopefully, help us in becoming self-sustainable, and will cover the overheads and paying for our CPU rangers. But,until such time, I am pleading to each and every one, to please help us win this war, and fight for what is right!
