Advent Santa Run Part Three

Ho Ho Hooooooooooo

Some of you will know that I have completed this challenge for the last two advent periods.

Santa Run Part Three will have a different feel to it, 2018 and 2019 have been 3KM every day in Advent, however due to my current working pattern things will change to what actually might be a bigger challenge,

In 2020 I pledge to run 11 K on each of the following dates Dec 5,12,19 and 24.For those that know Malta in December, if it rains a treadmill will be on hand as potential back up as the drainage makes it impossible to run outside. This will be done dressed as a Christmas Elf around San Gwann, Sliema and St Julians.

All money raised will go directly to my beautiful cousin Caroline Burns and her family to help her cause. Caroline was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2014 and was informed she had months to live, after some intervention from her husband Gary, it was decided that an alternative medicine could help. The results have been amazing so far.Caroline was given a six month prognosis, however with the help of this alternative medicine she is now six years later still enjoying her life and more importantly she has seen her son Jack grow into a fantastic young man as well as obvious examples of seeing the tumour shrinking and in fact now able to get by on a lesser dose.

This medication costs around £1000 a month so you can see the burden on the family, This is my way of helping a family who helped me out when I was younger and more importantly she is also a wonderful human being so any help is more than appreciated as sadly there is no public funding for her, however that is a different story.
