Migrant Artists Mutual Aid (MAMA) is a campaigns group and network of people based in Liverpool who support refugees and women seeking sanctuary from persecution. We are a mutual aid group and aim to provide a safety net that is based on shared values of social justice and equality, that affirms that even in the toughest times we can stand together to help each other and ourselves. We work closely with other organisations both locally and nationally to ensure the fair and legal treatment of asylum seekers. The money raised will be put towards legal and social support for women seeking asylum who have been affected by legal aid and crisis cuts, as well as towards awareness raising and post-deportation support.
