In the midst of the enhanced community quarantine, "staying at home" is a privilege.

Eating three meals a day, sleeping in a warm bed, and working from home is a luxury many Filipinos cannot afford. There are still several of us who are unable to self-isolate, find safe shelter, and obtain resources to practice proper hygiene habits.

These are the same Filipinos who are already having difficulties finding food and earning money for their other day-to-day needs. With what is currently happening in the country, there are homeless Filipinos who are being arrested for violating curfew rules when they simply do not have a home to return to.

In this time of crisis, where resources are scarce and more people are getting infected by the day, it is our responsibility to make sure that everyone - to the best of our abilities - is well taken care of. After all, by helping at least one single Filipino, we are helping contain the spread of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

Tayo tayo lang rin naman ang kailangan magtulungan.
