Today, in commemoration of Menstruation Hygiene Day, 28th May, with this year's theme being "From Anxiety to Confidence" HASPEG Organisation was able to sensitize girls at Kivandini Secondary School, Machakos County, Kenya, on the importance of hygiene during menses and the miss-information that cones with it and breaking the taboo beyond the normal flow of periods. We were able able to donate sanitary pads/ towels to 16 girls and promised to come back for more talk and support.
In support of the Menstrual Hygiene Month and boosting confidence to the girl child, HASPEG Kenya (http://haspeg.org/ , https://www.facebook.com/Haspeg.org/) has set up this fundraising campaign in which we will buy sanitary towels for 250 girls of Kivandini Secondary school, @ KES 80 for One year (12 months) thats totalling KES 240,00/= which is USD$ 2400.00. The amount of money you donate is not limited and not set. You can donate as much as you want - the only thing that matters is that we reach our target of $2400.
LET'S KEEP OUR GIRLS IN SCHOOL!
Thank you very much for your help.
