I just wanted to check in here and say the hugest of thanks to every single one of you that has donated so far, or liked/shared/interacted with our posts. The amount of support we have received is overwhelming and I am so grateful. If you follow our social media or click through the photos on this page you can see that we are bringing our paper plans to life. Everyday more of the property is being transformed. Renovation of the existing building is well underway with cement, tiles, and toilets being fitted, and our own team helping out on-site. Most excitingly, the fences have arrived! After some metal work to reinforce them, we can start to build the very first dog pen. I am so excited! We still have quite a long way to go, and we still need your help; if you are able to donate, please consider helping us with any amount you can, and if you have donated already please share this on social media or take the time to introduce your friends to our work. It really goes a long way. It is with HUGE excitement we are ready to unveil our plans for Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary!

I have been living in Sangkhlaburi for over 6 years and have dedicated my time here to working for animal welfare. Sangkhlaburi is a rural town where the nearest vets is a four hour drive and many of the local people do not have the money or means to take sick animals there. Covid19 has also stopped tourism and I have been unable to organise volunteers and vets to visit the town and do spay camps. The animal population here is now out of control and they need our help.

Thanks to an incredibly strong team of employees, supporters, and friends working tirelessly for weeks, I'm elated to announce that we have found a fantastic piece of land, secured a long term contract, and have finished the clearing and cleaning of the grounds. This is our BIGGEST PROJECT EVER. Starting from scratch and building a thriving sanctuary from the ground up will be the most difficult task our dedicated team have ever faced. Our long-time friend and supporter Urs Schmid is our project manager and as well as working on-site for many days, he has drawn up these beautiful 3D plans to share our vision with you all. We are ecstatic to see our dream becoming more real every day and we hope you feel the same!

As we continue to work around the clock to get the new Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary ready we urgently need to raise funds for constructing the pens, renovating the clinic, and to purchase all the equipment we need from food bowls to life-saving medicines. With your continued help WE CAN DO IT, and fast!
