Sandile – Rugby Galwegans Ireland

Our family has known Sandile Sibande since 2012 and at the time, my younger brother, Wade Viljoen, had started High School at Jeppe High School for Boys and was also participating in Rugby.

At the time Sandile (whom we refer to as ‘Sanza’) was a termly boarder at the school. It wasn’t long until he started coming home with my brother on weekends instead of having to stay in hostel. He quickly become one of the family and accompanied us all to weekend events.

My mother was particularly fond of him and treated him as one of her own. She supported him where she could.

My uncle, Neil Haig, has had the opportunity to meet Sandile on the numerous occasions that he has been to visit the family in South Africa.

Neil Haig has generously offered to assist Sandile to come to Ireland in order to pursue his dream of playing professional rugby. During his stay in Ireland, Neil Haig has advised that he will host Sandile as he will be staying with him and his wife, Delia Tobin.

We are asking for your help for Sandile with he's travel and living expenses to get him to Ireland.
