My name is Sammi and I have had a long road in my life I grew up in a big city and was a victim of the emotional and physical abuse. Not with both parents but the other wasn't there have the time and or was drinking but was the most gentle soul and didn't deserve the abuse either. I eventually ran to drugs, alcohol, gangs and streets was institutionialized and Just lost. I eventually found my way I had received my GED, worked hard for my college degree and not just the degree I was proud of but I graduated on the deans list and was involved in every club and had the responsibility of photography for the school I even was assigned to tutoring the deaf because I had taken a course in the vocational school. My dreams came to an end in the early 2000s my health was diminishing and every Dr from a certain hospital told me there was nothing wrong but I came down with unexplained severe fevers some fevers were as high as 105. Sometimes my husband said I was sick I never remembered being hospitalized until 3 days later. I eventually had gotten away from those Drs but it was to late the Drs I have today are all Christians and I owe them my life because I survived almost dying several times. I had almost 50 surgeries in my life I even lost parts of my bowels. I have to have blood treatments every 3 weeks and high doses of b-12 injection due to low protein levels and mitochondria disorder a red blood cells disorder. I take 53 meds and will have maintance surgeriesthrough my life. I just had my blood treatments increased due to the fact I received the same dose for a long time and my body fought the dose before the increase insurance companies because I had 2 which I have to keep 2 because each treatment is 10,000. But because of who was going to pay the bill I was at risk I spent 3 separate instay visits and all of the antibiotics that was given for months caused severe dental issues the Dr actually tried to say I didn't take of my teeth. I got ruitine visits to every 6 months I told him I asked him do you want to see my insurance statement showing it had gotten paid. I literally have holes in my teeth and my gums are cut up. The dentist told me it was having a severe case of thrush from antibiotic use. We can't pay for my dental my gums and teeth hurt every day, because we couldn't pay for the insurance company that we used when my husband was in between employment we are struggling to pay for former blood treatments. We have also been in eviction court twice and just recently lost our car again. We however did catch up some debt with his new job but the hospitals and some Drs are giving us grief one Dr dropped me as a patient for lack of payment and lack of transportation to get there. We have lost homes, cars, savings, retirement, my jobs, 2 children one in custody battle that used my illness the other children services because I was hospitalized to much and even wedding rings. When we first married we didn't marry for money both of us new we had none we needed to build we had a small ceremony in a historical mayor office and the mayor was so touched of our love that he had his staff decorate the court house for us that day he even dressed in a suit himself. There was no reception just a small dinner at his parents house. We didn't even get a honeymoon. His family not perfect by far but was far perfect for me because they adopted me as their own I even knew his parents longer than my own and became very close to them when we lost my husbands father I even became closer to his mom. But our whole marriage we struggled because of the illness we would like hope I was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter and I need hope so I can be emotionally for her and not stressing from hardship, my little granddaughter is my light her light is my salvation. Right now we owe more than what I am asking the light alone is a lot of money because they took us off the budget I thought everything was OK but because I was one day late with the budget amount they claimed I broke the budget contract. I have several life threatening illnesses that requires electric for medical equipment and meds to be cooled. Some of my illnesses are as follows:

Systematic Lupus, RA, osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Severe immune deficiency, severe Selective IGA, Mitochondria disorder, Bacterial overgrowth disorder, severe asthma, diabetes, esophagus eroisionitis, Addisons, Fibromyalgia, bladder disorders and a few more you get the idea. But I do keep myself active as much as possible and eat correctly I always keep a positive attitude but most importantly I have FAITH!
